Spent a little time up in Butternut, Wisconsin over the holiday weekend. Took some pictures from the window of the house we rent when we are there. It was cold and snowy and only the chickadees were venturing out. Caught this little guy on the bird feeder. It is a challenge photographing these nervous little critters, the never stop moving. I shot one good shot and another which I thought was funny because everything is moving.

Nice start to your blog. I looked around, and we seem to have a great deal in common – Oly, where we shoot, what we shoot. Wyalusing is a place I’ve been wanting to get to for some time, and your shots there just convinced me to make it a priority. The fog shots are so great, moody. So typical of what is often found near the Mississippi.
You’ve been in this photography business a lot longer than I have – I’ve been going strong about a year. And I’m quite impressed by your books and photos. Isn’t digital photography wonderful? It’s opened many doors for me in a rather short time. Looks like the same is true for you.
Glad to “meet” you!
